I just wanted to remind everyone that we have quite a few shows coming up very soon. We will hopefully be coming through your area on our acoustic tour. We have been at a wonderful studio in Nashville, TN for the past 3 weeks. And yes, our next album will be country. Just kidding. We wish! We are doing our best to get some great tracks for you guys. Well TakeAction is over and we already miss all the awesome people we got to hang out with everyday. Also, we want to thank all of you guys and gals that came out and supported the tour. Almost every show was sold out each night and it really was one of the best tours we have ever been on. Up next, we are RECORDING!!!!!! We are so excited to finally be back in the studio and we have a bunch of songs that we have been working on and are ready to get recorded. We love you guys! 03/13/07 | Studio Hello everyone! We are about two weeks from the end of the take action tour, so you guys make sure and catch a show before it's too late. We will be going into the studio to record our third album after this tour is done. We will be finished recording at the end of May and will be releasing the album later this year. As the rest of the band begins a six week run of dates on The Vans Warped Tour, EMERY guitarist/vocalist Devin Shelton is sporting a wedding ring. Marrying his longtime sweetheart this past weekend in Monticello, Illinois Shelton will be taking a leave of absence from the Warped dates so he can enjoy his honeymoon and the first few weeks of married bliss. "There aren't words to describe how excited I am for the wedding," he says. "We've been waiting a long time for this. I will obviously miss seeing all of our fans on Warped. It's the most fun tour of the year." In his place, Ben Tietz (formerly of Number One Gun and currently in Cabrini Green) will be filling in the axe work while he's gone. "He's a great musician and a great friend, so I know the guy will give an amazing live show," he assures. Rocking out on the Warped Tour for six weeks starting on June 18th in Minneapolis, MN at The Metrodome, EMERY will be tackling the Volcom Stage for the first leg and then jumping onto the Smart Punk stage from July 16th to the 30th. In Fall 2006, Emery and their label Tooth & Nail are planning a huge re-release of The Question, featuring brand new exclusive re-recordings of tracks from this album and their debut The Weak's End. In addition to the added music, the set will include a special DVD consisting of videos, behind the scenes footage, and a special retrospective of the band. "I am so excited about this," says Devin. "Everyone is putting so much work into it. This is definitely not a typical rerelease. There will be a lot of surprises for our fans.
